Digitality has radically and dynamically transformed the role of traditional archives and museums as repositories for revered, to-be- safeguarded cultural objects.

Reimagining the Archive will explore the changing role of archives and cultural heritage institutions, and the new opportunities presented by the remapping and remixing of traditional, cherished, and seemingly immutable institutional models and practices.

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
We are now accepting 500-word abstracts for panels, papers, presentations and demonstrations exploring the evolving role of archives and cultural heritage institutions in the digital era.
Student submissions are strongly encouraged.

Deadline for abstracts is flexible. Proposals will be considered as they are received; preferably before October1, 2010. Submit abstracts to: digital@ucla.edu
