IS Colloquium Peer-to-Peer for PhD students

IS Colloquium featuring Peer-to-Peer for PhD students.

The idea of the session is to share expertise and advice about getting through the program, what to expect, and how to build your career.

Issues that you have asked to have addressed include:
What to expect from the qualifying exams?
How to prepare a prospectus?
What journals to subscribe to?
What conferences to attend?
Where to publish?
What and when to publish?
And any other topic anyone wants to put up for consideration. Some of this can be done on the spot.

If you are willing to talk, informally, on any of these topics or others, please let me know or simply come on the 17th and do it.
