Guide to Using USB Keys in the Lab

1. Open your USB key and insert it into one of the USB connectors located above and to the right of the computer's power button.

2. When you insert the USB key, wait patiently for a moment, and a Drivekey (F): dialog box will pop up. Select Open folder to view files and click OK.

3. You will now be able to open, print, or drag-and-drop files to your Z: drive.

4. To safely remove your USB key, close the F: drive dialog box. Next, find the green arrow image on the toolbar on the bottom right of your screen. Double-click on the green arrow.

5. In the Safely Remove Hardware dialog box, select the USB Mass Storage Device to highlight it, and click STOP.

6. Click OK in the final dialog box. It is now safe to remove your USB key from the slot.
